FALL PROGRMS

High School rowing is made up of high school students (grades 8-12) who either attend CHS or other neighboring high schools (Bolton, Tolland, Rham, etc.). 7/8th-graders with prior rowing experience may join with approval (email coach@coventrylakerowing.com).

CLCR High School Crew Club: This is a club season and is open to both HS students and youth from surrounding towns.
Start date is Wednesday after Labor Day
Practices are Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 5-7 PM. We come into docks around 6:30/6:45. Indoor practices due to weather will end at 6:30.

Competition schedule may change and only rowers who are "race ready" will be entered. All team mates are encouraged to attend as full team participation makes us much more competitive!

SPRING High School Comp

START DATE IS MARCH 24 for our first practice!

High School rowing is made up of high school students (grades 9-12) who either attend Coventry High School (CHS), are homeschooled or attend other neighboring high schools or magnet schools. 8th graders with rowing experience may join - please email coach@coventrylakerowing.com for approval. Please email us for more information. Fee: $100, Interest meeting Q&A TBD.

We apologize in advance for the paperwork! CHS specific students must fill out the CHS form and our registration form (or use donation button for the $100 fee). All other athletes can fill the form out at the bottom. US Rowing also needs to be current. Again, please note that we have scholarships for families who need financial assistance.

SPRING Middle School Intro

Late May start! This program is designed for middle school students as an introduction to rowing as well as for students who have rowed before. 3 sessions once per week will start the first Tuesday after the weekend around May 18-20 depending on the year at 5-6:30 pm and continue every Tues with a 4th day rain date if needed. Registration fee is $30 for all 3 sessions.

SUMMER PROGRAMS

SUMMER Youth (6th*, 7th-12th)

*6th graders are welcome to do privates and pending size/weight/ability may be added to group programming for the best experience.

We offer a variety of youth programs in the summer catering to the first-timer as well as the seasoned athlete. Options include:

Youth Learn2, Privates and Semi-Privates: By appointment only, $30/session. Email coach@coventrylakerowing.com for more information or register here.

Youth Recreational: Starting the first M,T,W, or Th after July 4th, 4 weeks of recreational rowing with flexible schedule* – $125/athlete.

Advanced:
- Mon-Th 8:30-10 am
Novice: students will be put in sessions based on compatibility and rowing experience
- Mon-Th 10-11:30 am

* additional sessions may be created. Youth do not need to attend all of the sessions within a week. No make-up dates (you can come to other sessions).

Youth Captain's Privileges: By recommendation only, please email coach@coventrylakerowing.com. $125/athlete (includes youth competitive program).

Sweep opportunities available by request and during regular programming

SUMMER/SEASONAL Adult

Adult Group Sweep/Scull Programs: No previous experience required. Morning & Evening times available starting in May.

$30 per private or semi-private session
$175/month
$440 for the season / $125 for collegiate students

Dates and times are subject to change based on coaching staff availability and group preferences.

Group Sessions:
- Adult Rowing Group: Tues & Thurs 6-7:30 PM (once experienced, you can apply for Captain's Privileges and be added to that as well)
  - Sweep & Scull Novice/Intermediate/Advanced

Private and Learn-to Lessons: For those who are not sure they can fit a class into their schedule and want some flexibility or just want to try out rowing without committing to a class yet, our private and learn-to lessons may be a great choice and are by appointment only. $30/person per 1 hour session.

Captain's Privileges: Recreational singles may start the May 20 - Oct. 15 (pending temperatures/weather). Rowing privileges outside of structured class times. Must pass rowing evaluation. Varied levels of privileges from the recreational sculler to advanced. $175/month or $440 for full season.
