Every year ends with mixed emotions. You celebrate your season, the successes each rower has had, the growth of the whole team and the skills that have grown and/or have been passed on. You realize your are losing your seniors, who bring you such pride in reflecting on their growth and knowing they are heading on to more greatness defining their own stories. And after some brief sadness, you look at who's "up and coming" – whether they are super young or going to be your next varsity squad, you realize everything is going to be "okey".
Congratulations to this year's seniors: Sophia, John, Calub and Megumi. We thank you for your leadership to pass the baton to the next set of stellar leaders of this team, and we wish you the best as you move on to greater things!
