On Friday, Lori Riley from Hartford Courant came out for our last “Seniors Rowing 101” class funded by a grant from The American Savings Foundation (americansavingsfdn) in collaboration with the Coventry Senior Center and CLCR. What a better way to celebrate Father’s Day and wish our dad members some well deserved appreciation. Two dad’s to especially appreciate today would be CLCR Founders Ron Cotterill and Ed Keagle who deserve the most credit of spearheading the beginnings of CLCR, making an intergenerational program like this possible less than a decade after inception. Happy Father’s Day to all our dad’s and grandfather’s who have contributed to our club!
