The joy of rowing

There are times in your life as a rower that are epic. You know what I am talking about, when it just clicks and the only thing holding you back is what kind of shape your are in.

These moments happen because you put the work in. Maybe not that week, may not even the week before – it takes years to master rowing. And once you have, you then know you never will. The joy from rowing comes from the pursuit of perfection and reaching it a given moments whether you are by yourself, with a team or bridging the gap between generations (shown here). Whether you are just learning or wrapping up a collegiate career, remember, rowing is for life – embrace the trip and the friends you meet along the way.

Thanks Emma, for being my alarm clock. Thanks Sam, for taking the time to enjoy this row with us and give us that extra coaching we all need.
