Coventry Lake Community Rowing is proud to share that we have been selected as a USRowing Open Doors Program recipient.
The Open Doors initiative supports rowing organizations that are actively working to reduce barriers to participation and create welcoming, inclusive pathways into the sport. This recognition affirms CLCR’s commitment to opening access to rowing for youth and adults who may not otherwise have the opportunity to get on the water.
Through the Open Doors program, CLCR will continue expanding opportunities that prioritize:
- Access and affordability
- Safe, supportive coaching and programming
- Community partnerships that broaden who rowing is for
Rowing has the power to build confidence, teamwork, and lifelong skills—on and off the water. Support from USRowing helps us strengthen programs that reflect our belief that rowing should be available to anyone who wants to try, regardless of background or experience.
We are grateful to USRowing for investing in clubs like ours and for recognizing the importance of inclusive, community-based rowing. This support moves us forward as we continue growing a diverse and welcoming rowing community on Coventry Lake.
