In support of our rowing community, CLCR is passing this information on to all who want to get involved.
UCONN Women’s Rowing will be marching today to gain awareness of the decision to remove Women’s Varsity rowing as an option at the University Of Connecticut. If interested in supporting their efforts, here’s the schedule:
- Meet outside the student union at 4:15pm
- From there they will walk down the center of campus to Storrs center.
- At this location, current athletes will be erging, showing signage and they will be taking pictures for the media, etc.
- To end the protest, they will march back up to Gampel Pavillion and congregate outside of David Benedict’s office
