Competitive Fall Rowing Registration

Who can join?

  • Youth with or without experience grades 8th-12th and grades 6th-7th who have had some rowing experience or who are interested in coxing.
    • Middle school youth with NO experience, please contact coach@coventrylakerowing.com for approval
  • Attending any local school or homeschool
  • Non-rowers! Youth who do not want to row but would like to learn how to steer the boats! No experience needed. 

Start date is Monday, August 31st

  • Practices are Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 5-7:00PM
  • Races are on weekends through end of October

Race Information:

Competition schedule may change and only rowers who are "race ready" will be entered. All team mates are encouraged to attend as full team participation makes us much more competitive! Planned race schedule does not include possible scrimmage(s) and is subject to change:

  • September 12, 2025: Rockrimmon - Springfield, MA
  • September  26, 2026 Paper City - Holyoke, MA
  • October 11, 2026 Head of the Quinsigamond, Worcester, MA
  • October 31, 2026 Head of the Horseman - Glastonbury, CT

Fees:

$150 which covers a uniform shirt and all regatta fees. USRowing membership is required for additional cost but is annual (1 full year $25).  Multi-children families are capped at $250.

Registration Form:

    Go to US Rowing and, if you are not already a member, join the basic individual membership ($25) and SIGN THE WAIVER. Your registration with a CLCR program is not complete until you are registered with US Rowing and have signed the waiver. Put in Coventry Lake Community Rowing Inc. for Club or Team Name. Our Club Code is H4YWA.
