Thank you for all that have supported our growth and a place to hang our hat!
The support for rowing at Coventry Lake has been overwhelmingly positive. So much so that we recently received a grant from The Jeffrey P. Ossen Foundation supporting middle school rowing as well as a donation from the Harry & Sylvia Philanthropic Fund which is directly supporting Coventry High School rowing (officially a club sport of CHS spring of 2020). Due to all of this support, we have acquired much of the equipment we need to sustain all the programs for years to come. In addition to boats, we have equipment that needs a dry and secure place to ensure that they will last for years to come.
Buy a Board, Build a Shed initiative will do just that! Above is a rendering of the shed we would like to build to tidy up our area at Patriot's Park.
Our goal is to raise approximately $1800 to build this shed. We currently have $350 donated to date, as well as pricing at cost for many of the materials thanks to O.L. Willard's Lumber in Willimantic – an amazing start!
